Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in the Insurance or Financial Services industry to design and deliver scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, development teams, vendors, and project leadership to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures, including system components, integrations, data flows, and technology platforms.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and compliant technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies based on business requirements, technical feasibility, and cost.
• Prepare solution architecture documents, technical blueprints, and supporting documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout implementation.
• Analyze complex technical challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, IT delivery teams, Business Analysts, and vendors on solution design and cost estimation.
• Ensure solutions follow enterprise architecture principles, development standards, SDLC, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in Solution Architecture or System Analysis.
• Strong experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale solutions across areas such as:
• Policy Administration Systems
• Claims Management Systems
• CRM
• Compensation Management
• Business Process Automation
• Sales & Distribution Applications/Portals
• Customer Mobile Applications/Portals
• AML Systems
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Computing – IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on knowledge of:
• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• IBM webMethods
• Informatica
• Java and .NET
• Web and Mobile Technologies
• SQL and NoSQL Databases
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture, SDLC, and Project Management methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

• TOGAF / Enterprise Architecture certification
• Microsoft, Java, or Software AG certifications
• FLMI / LOMA or other Insurance-related certifications
